The title of social media manager is a fairly new one, but it’s quickly creating alot of job opportunities and stands as one of the few bright spots in our bleek job market.
We are often asked, “what is it that you guys do exactly?” Simply stated, a social media manager is assigned to the research, planning, development and (often) implementation of a business’ social media campaign. Along with that you can throw in some app development, web design, and utility marketing. A good social media manager needs to adapt to each client and their specific needs. So many small business owners are so strapped financially that they do not have a marketing or advertising budget. This is when it is time to get creative and fiscally efficient, and that is where we come in!
