Content-Marketing-call-tracking-blog

Creating content that attracts your target audience has become a popular marketing tactic, on social media websites, over the last few years. Most companies have an understanding of how to use social media to promote their content on their own page but many are missing out on the opportunity to get their content to appear in front of a bigger audience through the use of paid social promotions.

Facebook Promoted Posts

A company can use Facebook promoted posts to have their content appear in the news feed. This gives the content a greater chance to be seen by the target audience.

To promote a post, create the post and click Promote near the bottom of the post. You will then be asked to select your audience and to set a budget based on how many people you would like to reach. Interesting graphics and headlines will make the post more likely to be viewed.

Twitter Promoted Tweets

Recently Twitter has launced a service for Promoted Tweets. Basically these are regular tweets that you can promote by using Promoted Tweets. Twitter allows their users to be able to target people by interest, gender and location. The users of this service only pay when people click, make it a favorite, retweet or reply to the tweet.

The pricing system for this is based on bidding. The user sets the maximum amount they are willing to spend on their content and Twitter will make suggestions on how to maximize the return on investment.

LinkedIn Ads

LinkedIn Ads are primarily used to get content in front of a business audience. These consist of a headline, a description, company name, a small image and a URL. You can select your target audience by adding criteria such as job function, job title, industry, geography, age, gender, company name and size. You can also target particular LinkedIn groups. It operates in the same manner as Twitter, set your maximum budget and only pay for clicks.
