Fresh off his third place finish at the Republican debate at Oakland University last night, Herman Cain is now on his way to Traverse City.
The embattled candidate said that since the allegations of sexual harrassment have surfaced more than a week ago, “voters have voted with their dollars,” and supported his campaign. At least he knows the relationship between voting and money!
The Cain campaign is dubbing the event a “meet and grope,” to avoid any further misunderstandings, and will be held at Streeter’s Entertainment Center on Garfield Avenue.
Cain’s social media campaign is sluggish to say the least. His biggest viral success was a poorly planned mistake, but it’s still early in the race.
The Occupy Traverse City movement is still trying to figure out what their plan is for tonight, but seems to be disorganized. Don’t count them out, there is too much controversy following Cain to not garner a decent turnout of protesters.
Doors will open at 7 p.m., with Cain expected to arrive at 8 p.m. With no cost to enter, there is sure to be a great mix of local citizens. Why am I picturing a pie in the face?
