Besides getting down on #FollowFriday, (Hey! Are you following us on Twitter? Or Me? Do it!) a lot has been going on between Google+ and Facebook. In fact, it’s starting to look gritty, with both sides taking jabs at one other.
First, during the launch of Google+’s Games, a Google exec made a back-handed comment about how the big G’s games wouldn’t make posts on everyone’s news feed (Farmville requests, anyone?).
Next, Facebook decided to rollout a ton of new gaming features, including a game-ticker for live updates during gameplay (it replaces the chat bar on the right side of your screen). Wait, did we forget to mention they launched these features hours after Google announced Google+ Games?
Zucker-burn!
With Google+ already losing traffic (and Facebook gaining more new users than Google+ in the same amount of time), I’m starting to think that Google+ will flop. Hard–so I’m calling it here: Google+ is going to fail.
