Our short time with our 2nd ever intern is coming to a close, so we’ve asked her to write a message about her experience with us, and here it is!

“Before working at Bit Social Media, I thought interning at a social media company would consist purely of posting to Facebook, writing blogs, and designing websites.  Well, as it turns out that is only about half the story. The other half of the business involves ground work such as customer recruitment, community involvement, and company promotion. I was happy to see this as I am about to graduate college, I learned about many of these fields in school, and I was anxious to put my knowledge to the test.

While much of what I did for Bit Social Media was exactly what I thought I would be doing, just as much of it wasn’t. There were times I would be updating Facebook pages, websites, and doing blogs. Other times I would be on the ground, visiting potential customers and passing out company information on behalf of Bit Social Media. The success of the company has been evident during my time, and many of their customers have seen the benefit of their services. I see a bright future ahead of this company. 🙂 ”

Thanks to Jamie for seeking us out and helping us over the last several weeks. We know that she has learned skills that she will be able to use moving forward, especially in the new charitable organization she and her husband founded this year 231 Events! We’ve had the pleasure of working with Jamie on the Cadillac Zombie Walk in 2012 and the Cadillac Renaissance Festival coming to Cadillac in June! We wish her an early congrats on her graduation next month and look forward to working with her in the future!
